One or two pages (maximum) in English, outlining the applicant's academic background and areas of interest, potential theses area (if applicable), and objectives in pursuing graduate studies.
Only 1 copy of all post-secondary studies is required. Transcripts in languages other than English or French must be accompanied by an English or French translation, issued by a certified translator. A minimum GPA of 3.3 on a 4.3 scale (77%) is required.
Complete and up-to-date.
Three letters must be submitted in signed, sealed envelopes. There is also an Assessment Form that should accompany each letter of reference. Applicants can collect the letters and mail them themselves or ask their referees to send them directly to the above address. Either way they must be signed and sealed when they arrive.
Brief speech (in Spanish) on the applicant’s experience as an undergraduate student (skills acquired in relation with graduate studies and/or for his/her professional career). The 5-minute voice sample (audio file) must be submitted in one of the following formats: MP3, iTunes, WMA. The file can be sent to cmll@concordia.ca or delivered to the Department at the following address:

1000-word writing sample in Spanish. The writing sample should be an academic work on any subject the applicant has accomplished in the past (for instance, a final essay for a course).
Applicants whose prior degrees are not from an English or French-language university are required to submit TEOFL scores. The minimum IBT TOEFL score is 80.
