My current and past research is on the Latin elegiac poet Ovid, specifically his series of letters written by abandoned heroines called the Heroides. From strictly poetic interpretations of the letters, I have moved to investigating issues of gender and space in the single letters of the Heroides.
I have taught at Concordia University since 1989. I am currently the Associate Dean for Student Academic Services, Faculty of Arts and Science, with offices located on the Loyola Campus. I have held this appointment since 2006.
